Money Saving Challege

I got some pretty good deals today
DH and I had lunch at Subway-I had a great coupon from my entertainment book. He got a footlong and I got a 6 inch, he had a soda and I had water. We paid $1.02 total from our entertainment budget. It was so great!

Wags-
2 boxes Special K, 1 Electrosal box, and 1 Pronamel Sensodyne toothpaste. Did this in 2 transactions, earned a $2 RR and a $1 RR. Used the $2 RR on 2nd transaction.
Total savings=$16
Grocery store-
20 Yoplait Yogurt $0.12/each
Carrots
Onions
Bananas
Kraft shredded cheddar cheese $0.50
3 cans Grands Biscuits 0.30/each
1 box Nature Valley Dark Chocolate and Nut granola bars $2.99, used $0.50 Q doubled to $1(Free after try me free rebate) This rebate is only good until 1/15/10. I end up making $1 Profit.
The rest was all bogo sirloin beef roasts, pork roasts and 3 whole chickens.

Total savings=$29.51
Out of pocket$41. (I got a $2 off next order coupon and a rebate for $2.99) so if you think about it this trip really only cost about-$36.01

Origial montly budget=$125- all shopping trips this week= 75.21 left for the month. There's not much at my grocery store this month sale wise.

Of course DH left the car on E so the gas light came on-luckily I was buy our grocery store gas station-we got $0.60 off per gallon. We saved $13 total according to the receipt by using the discount. :) Not a bad day of money saving if you ask me.
