DH and I have been enjoying the Olympics-it's great entertainment for us. We just had quite the discussion and I was proven right yet again. It helps that DH has a horrible memory with what he deems minor details. We went to college with the older sister of a US Olympian snow boarder-Louie Vito. We have met him several times during college little sibs weekends and visits, and DH swears no different guy. Then he switches his arguement and says maybe he just has the same last name as Lindsey. I try to argue with him....I cave and then good old NBC won the battle for me because they flashed onto his family-and actually said "There's his sister Lindsey" I turned to DH and just laughed and laughed! It was awesome!
Plus the US is doing great in speed skating, skiing, and snowboarding
We also did a quick grocery store run tonight.
10 boxes of nature valley bars(great snacks for me before the gym after work to get me thru til dinner), Paid $1 per box and I got $7 off next order coupon. These are usually $4 here so I was very happy. I've got ample supply now.
I got 1 can dole pineapple-on sale $1 there was a coupon next to it in a blinkie $0.50 doubled to make it FREE
1 Gallon Milk $2.39.
Pretty good trip if you ask me. We also got a rebate check in the mail. :) I love free $

Too funny, my DH and I are the same way, I am always right when it comes to remembering stuff. Yet he never gives up.
