Where does all this "Stuff" come from?

I go home at lunch-I get an hour for my break so I decided to clean out a closet in an extra bedroom. I really have absolutely no idea where some of this stuff comes from. I found 3 boxes filled with the smaller surround sound speakers and wiring. Must be one of the old college roommates because I just kept moving it and apparently never opened it. And I know I never had surround sound. I also found a dvd player with remote that I've never seen before.

Seriously does the clutter fairy visit my house when I'm sleeping? My solution for the past few months has been close the door to that bedroom and just don't go in there.......not the best solution but what can I say. I'm admitting I have a problem. What on earth will I do with these things? Some poeple would say ebay or craigslist some I know would even say trashcan. I texted the college age sister. She happened to be with her lab partner who recently said they wanted surround sound speakers for their dorm rooms. Perfect I have 2 sets. She'll take the dvd player because she has a common room and doesn't want to put the nice dvd player I bought her before college out there. This is the smaller type of DVD player that cost about $39 so I feel pretty good about saving her money. I've grabbed a few flat rate ship boxes from the post office and dropped off on my way back to lunch. I feel pretty good about getting rid of stuff. The lab guys gave my sister $20 bucks each (per set of speakers), they made out pretty good each one has 5 different speakers and they all work. DH tested them prior to packing. The question now is will my sister give me the $40 or pocket it? :) JK I'm 95% sure she would give it to me. But I told her since she's a poor college student I said keep it for gas or pizza. I usually try to send her a gas gift card once a month so this month I won't send a gift card. I'm just happy to be rid of the clutter.
