CVS
Sometimes you don't have coupons but there are things that you need and it's better to use your "free" money than real money. At CVS the "free" money are the extra bucks you get for certain promotional deals.
I had $8.50 in extra care bucks and DH was out of soda. He was going to pay $5.99 per 12 pack. I bought 3 12 packs for $10 and two 2 liters of Diet Mt Dew at $0.88/each. I had to pay $4 out of pocket it was very nice.
I will take this out of our monthly budget for January.

Oh no! If you could have waited one more week, Pepsi is going to be on sale again. 6 12-pks for $20, get $10 EB back. If he drinks it regularly, it might be worth it to stock up :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the sale was coming next week and we're still going to do that sale because he drinks it regularly. This was a case of ECB's that expired 12/30 and my store manager will only take them 7 days. I just didn't have any deals I needed that could roll them into new. It happens though in the coupon game and I'm glad I had them as "free money".
