January Savings Totals

So I went a bit over the budget that I was trying to hit($125 for the month)
I got 207 Items
Spent:$179.72
Saved: $498.67
Rebates $99.99 (so close to $100 even)
74.51% overall savings

January was a pretty good month in my opinion even considering there were 5 weeks. I have some leftover CVS extra bucks and I got $50 in CVS giftcards so I think February is looking good!

  2. Thanks Precious-DH thinks I should subtract the rebates from the total, which brings it under a $100 but I don't have the checks physically in hand for all of them. I'm putting rebate money into our gifts savings account for the year until it gets the dollar amount we choose to spend for the year on gifts. I've seen so many arguements about how to count it/track it. But I just decided to post the physical dollars that come out of my bank account for household, grocery, and prescriptions. Maybe one day I'll make the effort to figure out my after rebate out of pockets etc for my monthly totals-for now it's too much effort for me.
