Deals, Deals, Deals!

Ace Hardware has $1 GE CFL light bulbs in various wattages. I had 3 $1 off coupons which made them free. I had to pay $0.19 in tax. That's not bad in my book when they are normally $4/each.

I made a few trips out to the stores before my beloved Colts game tonight.
CVS:
2 pks M&ms 2/$5 get $2 ECB back
1 Cottenelle tp 20 pk $12.88-$0.50 coupon get $4 ECB back
1 sensodyn pronamel toothpaste for DH on sale for $4.49
Used $5 off $20 Q
Paid with two $2 ECBs and a free giftcard.
Total was $12.62.
Got back $7 ECB ($1 was for green bag tag using my reuseable bags)

G.Eagle grocery store:
3 Old El Paso side dish(mexican rice and black beans) sale for $1.25 had coupon $0.50 doubled=$0.25 each. I figured for that cheap we will try it.
2 five pound whole fryer chickens for $3/each
6 Quaker Rice cake chips sale $1.67/each. Used 4 $0.75 coupons doubled to $1.50, and 1 $1.25 coupon.=.17 each for 5 and $0.42 for the last one.
I got some meat, and canned veggies. It was a pretty great trip.

I saved $23.01 by using coupons and got a $4 off next purchase coupon.

I'll be heading out tomorrow bright and early to get several deals.

  1. Nice deals especially on the chickens. I haven't seen them that cheap since I left AZ!

  2. I got lucky there were only 2 in the aisle and no stickers so I scooped them up and took to meat counter so they discounted them. I was excited.
