I love a great deal!
I got 5 GE CFL light bulbs at Ace on sale for $1(until the end of Jan), and I used 5 $1 off coupons from the stack my mom had saved-paid $0.35 only the tax for all 5. It was a great deal. She's taking 4 I'm keeping 1.
Barnes and Noble does a clearance event that starts the day after Christmas. They slowly add books, puzzles, Christmas themed items, wrapping paper, cards, and gift bags. But starting this weekend it all was marked down to $2 and had the red sticker. That's my cue to swoop in. I got my sister a game for one of the college care packages I'll be sending this semester. I got a few craft books for gifts, I got 2 christmas themed puzzles 1 for me 1 for a gift, and 2 other books just for me for fun. Total of 7 items, all $2 well I'm a member so it was 1.80 per item and I paid with a gift card I won at work. It's great I got bday/Christmas gifts for 3 people on my list that will def. help my gift budget. And $0 cash was spent. I did not get any wrapping paper, cards or gift bags because well $2 is not that cheap to me, I paid way less the day after Christmas for the few holiday items I needed.
