Meal Plan for the week

Well part of saving money, couponing, and staying on track for me is to meal plan. So I sat down after going through all of our food items this weekend and the store ad and determinded what we'll be having. I had a 6 lb whole chicken in the freezer(and we can't remember when we bought it, so we decided to cook it before any freezer burn happens). I put it in the crockpot today to cook for 6- 7 hours on low. This will be used in various meals this week.

Monday-Roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, & rolls
Tuesday- My homemade Chicken and noodles with Rolls and any leftover veggies.
Wednesday-(we need a break from chicken) Hamburger Helper for DH and tilapia for me with garlic bread.
Thursday-Chicken Fettuccine alfredo with bacon and broccoli
Friday- Pot roast in the crock pot with Potatos, onion, and carrots.
Saturday-Leftover pot roast will be turned into beef stew with cornbread
Sunday-Pork tenderloin with some kind of fixins....not sure what kind yet searching the recipe box. DH loved the pork with cranberry sauce (off PW's site last night) but it's too soon for a repeat.
