First day of the New Year. Starting it off right financially. We hit the amount I estimated for our New Years festivities right on the dot so I am way exited.
As we drove home this morning we realized there was a huge snowstorm in our area so we are staying in today rather than shopping or movies. I am cleaning out all my expired coupons. I am gathering all of my coupons and prepping/planning any trips to grocery store, CVS, RiteAid, and Wags. I may not need much until next week actually. We've got fruit, veggies, and plenty of meat. So I'm going to spend the day going through the pantry- planning some meals, rotating items based off their expiration date to prevent expiring. I need to get back on the organization wagon.
I need to get back into meal planning because it helps our week to go smoother. One day if I ever stop working I will be able to whip up grander meals. For now DH like what he gets and doesn't complain.
Today is laundry and dishes day. Hopefully I can squeeze in a nap. :)
