Today was the first day I went to a store in 2010. I found a much better coupon tracking spreadsheet on The Coupon Project that I downloaded, mainly because I like that it shows constantly at a glance savings in the top area. Could I have done this myself, yes but let's face it I spend hours a week making, analyzing, and prettying up spreadsheets at work(I don't want to do that in my free time). If I think of something else I'd like to track or know, I will write a formula within this spreadsheet to add it. Hopefully I'll end up like frugalsuz with profit for the year.
CVS
Gallon skim Milk 2.19
Fusion Razor $8.99-4 Q, and got $4 ecbs back
Total oop=$1.17 out of my monthly $125 budget.
I also took the day as a cleaning day. I cleaned out our pantry and freezer, rotating everything by expiration date and this way I know what we have and to meal plan for the week ahead. Now I have made a list of items I need to find on sale in the next month or so that I am out of or low on. :) I suggest all other stockpilers double check their items for expiration dates. I know the pantry can get jam packed sometimes.
For dinner I made Pioneer Woman's pork loin and cranberry sauce. I served it with cornbread and rice, it was yummy.
DH and I decided to forgo our trip to the movies tonight-it's snowy and cold outside. So we're enjoying a bottle of Asti spumante and found Lord of The Rings 2 on TNT. :)

Nice CVS shop! I wish CVS was closer to me here. I am waiting for a new store to open. The closest one to me is miles away. I don't get there very often unless we need prescriptions.
ReplyDeleteYour pork loin dinner sounds yummy!
